PERMISSIONS. PHYSICAL CONTACT: Generally, John's not much of a touchy person with someone he doesn't know and it's probably because he's usually busy sucking back on a cigarette so, you know, hands busy there. Hugging and reassuring pats are all good and he'll give them back at times. Depending. He may be cynical when it comes to God but he's not incapable of showing affection. ROMANCE: Like his other incarnations, I play him bisexual. He can be a bit of a flirt, especially when he's comfortable around someone and especially when he's looking to annoy someone hello bruce wayne for fun or is in a sarcastic mood of his. He can be a little touch and go with romance or when it comes to someone he genuinely likes (he's lost a few close friends so you know), but. Like with affection, he's not incapable of feeling something(s) for someone(s). SEX: Just putting it out there that I tend to use dirty and filthy language when it comes to writing smut, so. Please feel free to toss that kind of language right back at me, I honestly don't mind. If it's not something you're comfortable with, please let me know and I can adjust my wording! FIGHTING: John relies more on tools and magic than actual physical combat, but. Doesn't mean he can't throw down if he needs to. He's absolutely punched a demon in the face a couple times. Even an angel maybe. So if you want to go, he can go. INJURY: While he has tools, magic, and is a psychic, he's still just a regular ole' human and can be messed up. Always open to it and open to discussion for more heavier injuries. KILLING: He's technically died twice already and by his own hand, so I mean. I'm not against making it a third time. Just discuss it first if someone else is involved or he goes about sacrificing himself again. MIND READING: John is a psychic but not of the mind reading variety however, he's more than likely aware of that being A Thing and could have safeguards in place or know of ways to fuck around with someone in his head. That being said, feel free to discuss if you're looking to poke around in his head or else I'll easily drop thoughts here and there. OTHER: I usually prefer to keep backtagging to a month so that I don't get lost in where John's headspace currently is with current CR, threads, events, etc. If anything need to be handwaved or discussed, I'm completely fine with that, especially if the thread was looking like it was close to being closed already. Also can do [brackets] or prose depending on your preference, it's all good to me, I just prefer present tense myself. WARNINGS. There are a few triggers and warnings that come with John's character and canon. These include mentions of suicide (John being a suicide survivor), addiction, terminal illness (John having lung cancer), religion/religious beliefs, demonic entities, Hell, and the occult itself. All will be warned for and marked in threads or discussions where they come up but as a note, never have to be dealt with if any player or any character is uncomfortable with any of the aforementioned.
